Andy Roland NZIENGUI NZIENGUI est un jeune leader Gabonais engagé dans la promotion des Objectifs du Millénaire pour le Développement (OMD) et le panafricanisme. Fondateur du Réseau des Jeunes Leaders du Gabon et Co-fondateur du Réseau International des volontaires Francophones, il est auteur du Guide de Réflexion Stratégique sur les Politiques jeunesses en Afrique. Diplômé en science politique et relations internationales, parcours Francophonie et mondialisation de l’Université Jean Moulin Lyon III, il est également titulaire d’un Master en Management stratégique des organisations de l’Université de Montpelier III et d’un Bachelor en Administration des Affaires de l’Académie Franco Américaine de Management (AFRAM). M.NZIENGUI NZIENGUI enseigne l’Entreprenariat et Gestion de Projet à l’Institut de la Jeunesse et des Sports (INJEP) de Libreville.
C’est en 2004, qu’en tant que Parlementaire Junior qu’il est admis suite à un concours au Parlement Mondial de la jeunesse organisé par Oxfam international et le Gouvernement australien puis coopté par le PNUD pour être Jeune Leaders du PNUD et de l’UNFPA dans le cadre du projet Africa 2015 dont l’objectif vise la formation d’une nouvelle génération des jeunes talents capables de relever les défis dans l’atteinte des OMD. En 2006 il est nommé Ambassadeur de la jeunesse pour les OMD par M. Koffi Anan, Secrétaire Général de l’ONU.
Sur le plan international, il s’est fait distinguer par le Prix des Nations Unies des Jeunes leaders décerné par le PNUD (2007), le prix de l’Excellence Africaine par le Comité de l’Excellence Africaine (2008), Grand prix du meilleur Blog de TakingitGlobal (2006), lauréat du concours de la Francophonie sur le Centenaire de Léopold Senghor (2005) et Prix de la Francophonie pour l’éducation de la Fondation Paul Gerin Lajoie du Québec (2004).
Son parcours et son engagement lui a permis d’être reçu à la Maison Blanche par le Président Barack Obama où il a conduit une délégation dans le cadre de son Forum avec les jeunes leaders Africains. Andy Roland NZIENGUI a été Consultant dans le cadre de la Charte Africaine de la jeunesse en 2006, l’élaboration du Plan d’action Mondiale de jeunesse à l’horizon 2000 et au délà et a été le porte parole de la jeunesse Africaine à l’Assemblée Général des jeunes des nations unies à New York , au Sommet Afrique Europe à tripoli , au 17ème Sommet de l’Union Africaine à Malabo et tout récemment à l’Union du Greak Sylk Way à Astana (Kazashtan). Andy pense que « Les jeunes peuvent promouvoir et provoquer des changements insoupçonnés, c’est pour cela que le dialogue intergénérationnel franc et fréquent devient de plus en plus urgent pour établir les bases d’une compréhension mutuelle » .

Dr. Nishan de Mel is Executive Director of Verité Research, a think tank that provides analytical research and advisory services on economic, media, political and legal issues in Sri Lanka and Asia. He is an economist with extensive academic, policy and private sector experience. He has held several governing, teaching and research positions including lecturing at Oxford University. In Sri Lanka, he has been a Member of the Presidential Committee on Tobacco and Alcohol, National Steering Committee on Social Security and Presidential Task Force on Health Sector Reform. He has also served as Executive Director of the International Centre for Ethnic Studies (ICES) and Sri Lanka Foundation Institute. He is on multiple private sector boards and consults regularly as a strategist for some of the region's largest firms. He received his doctoral degree in Economics from Oxford University and his bachelor's degree in Economics from Harvard University.

Trained as a science writer, Nalaka Gunawardene has worked in the public media and development spheres for 25 years both in Sri Lanka and at Asian regional level. During this time, he has variously been a news reporter, feature writer, radio presenter, TV quizmaster, documentary film producer, foreign correspondent, media researcher and journalist trainer. He continues to juggle some of these roles, while also actively blogging, tweeting and column writing. His focus areas are information society, sustainable development and science communication.
Besides many popular articles in newspapers and magazines, he has authored or edited several books, and contributed many book chapters. Nalaka has travelled widely on work, and has spoken at leading universities and research centres in countries like the US, Canada, Australia, Japan and the UK, as well as at the UN Headquarters in New York and Geneva.
Indralal De Silva is a Senior Professor of Demography (Chair) and former Dean of the Faculty of Arts, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Presently, he is attached to the National Centre for Advanced Studies in Humanities and Social Sciences, University Grants Commission, Sri Lanka. He has been responsible for developing Demography discipline in Sri Lanka particularly at University level. Apart from providing his teaching and research capabilities to many faculties in the University of Colombo, such as Arts, Science, Medicine, etc., he has been providing his services to several government institutions, NGOs and private sector during the past many decades. In his academic life, he has published a number of books and monographs, presented over 30 research papers in many international conferences and has also published over 50 research articles in reputed local and international journals. His main areas of research interest are fertility, mortality, migration, youth, ageing, population, labour force projections and reproductive health in developing counties with special emphasis on Sri Lanka.
Professor De Silva obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies from University of Colombo in 1977 specializing in Statistics. He obtained Masters and Doctoral Degrees from Australian National University in 1985 and 1990 respectively under the supervision of Professor J.C. Caldwell. He was a Visiting Professor at the National University of Singapore in 2004, Harvard School of Public health during 1996-1998 and was also a Visiting Fellow at the Australian National University during 1990-1991. He has obtained a number of prestige awards including Senior Fulbright Fellowship, Takemi Fellowship and Rockefeller Foundation Fellowship for his attachments at Harvard School of Public Health, Harvard University, USA and the Australian National University, Australia. He has acted in the capacity of a consultant to the World Bank and umbrella organizations of the United Nations such as ESCAP, WHO, UNFPA etc. With recognition of his academic excellence and contribution, Prof. De Silva has been appointed to the Chair of Demography at the University of Colombo in year 2001.

Sean charts direction and oversees everything in Halogen. He first started as a volunteer in 2005 before joining the team as Head of Lab, overseeing curriculum design, and research in youth trends and tools for youth development measurement. He is a Certified Facilitator for The Student Leadership Challenge®Workshop, and a Birkman® Certified Consultant. He has spoken to over 40,000 youths and 500 educators across multiple topics and platforms.
Currently, Sean sits on the National Youth Council’s SHINE Youth Festival Steering Committee. He is also part of the INSPIRIT community organised by the National Youth Council and the Singapore National Employer Federation, which seeks to empower youths to advocate for youths. He is also a member of the Publications Consultative Panel, an initiative of the Media Development Authority. Sean holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics with a minor in Nanoscience from the National University of Singapore. He loves the outdoors and adventure, and dreams to sail across the Indian Ocean.

David Collste is the global focal point for the 10 Year Framework of Programmes on Sustainable Consumption and Production Patterns (10YFP) for the Major Group for Children and Youth (MGCY). He has a background from various youth organizations in Sweden and abroad and got acquainted with the MGCY as the Official Swedish Youth Delegate to the High Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) in 2013. He has also worked at the sustainable development unit at the EU delegation to the UN in New York and is now a graduate at the European Master in System Dynamics.
Matilda Flemming is a leading coordinator at the United Network of Young Peacebuilders (UNOY Peacebuilders). UNOY Peacebuilders is a global network of 60 youth peace organizations in 35 countries. The secretariat is based in the Netherlands. In 2013 the network reached 800.000 young peacebuilders around the globe. Matilda's background is in youth activism and she has been leading and participating in numerous regional and international youth organizations. Matilda is from Finland and holds a MA in Development Studies from the International Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

Advocate Shri Biren Sikder, A Member of Bangladesh Parliament, elected from constituency 92 Magura-2 comprising upazillas namely Mohammadpur, Shalikha and Magura Sadar. He was born on 16 October 1949 at the village of Singra under Shalikha upzilla of Magura district. His father’s name is late Bihari Lal Sikder and mother’s name is Swarasati Sikder. His father was a businessman by profession.
Shri Biren Sikder obtained his S.S.C from Hatbarbazar High School of Jhinaidah district; H.S.C from Magura Hossain Shaheed Suhrawardy College and Bachelor’s Degree from Michel Madhusudhan College. Later on he completed L.L.B and L.L.M from Rajshahi University. By profession Shri Biren Sikder is a lawyer.
Shri Biren Sikder has been very active in politics since his student life. He was the president of Chatra league of greater Jessore district in 1968-69. He was the convener of greater Jessore Chatra Sangram Parisad in mass upsurge in 1969. He actively participated in the war of independence in his own area as one of the members of Mujib Bahini in 1971.
Shri Biren Sikder in 1985 being elected Upazilla Chairman ran a lot of development works in his area. In 1996 he was elected member of 7th Parliamentary election through which he had the opportunity to implement development activities in his constituency. During the period of then Government he worked as a member of Parliamentary Standing Committee for Ministry of Commerce. Subsequently he by turns became the member of Parliamentary Standing Committees for Ministry of Education & Govt. organizations. Later on he also acted as the Chairman of Parliamentary Standing Committee for Ministry of Jute and Textiles. He also elected the Member of 9th Parliamentary Election in 2008 on the same constituency.
His participation in public welfare activities is highly appreciated. As a mark of welfare activities he established Swarasati Sikder School & College after his mother’s name and Bihari Lal Sikder Degree College after his father’s name at his own Village- Singra step by step. Besides he is the founder of Arpara Degree College under Magura district. He further founded Shri Biren Sikder Ideal High School after his own name at Mohammadpur Sadar Upazilla.
Except above he engaged himself in the development of many roads, culverts, schools, colleges and madrashas. As regards his wife Shrimati Shanti Lata Sikder it is to say that she is a housewife and ideal mother. They are the proud parents of one son and one daughter. His son Amitav Sikder has passed M.B.A from IBA, Dhaka University. And his daughter Beauty Sikder has been in service holding Master’s Degree.
Shri Biren Sikder in his life has travelled many countries like Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, Malayasia, Singapore, India, Nepal, Bhutan, Pakistan, Australia, Saudi Arabia and USA. He also travelled Combodia along with Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. For the sake of people’s socio-economic development Shri Biren Sikder is devoted to work in building up Bangabandhu’s 'Sonar Bangla' and Sheikh Hasina’s ' Vission-2021; Digital Bangladesh'. For his contribution to education and social service he is awarded BR Ambedkar award from Calcutta University of India.
Bearing a good moral character he uninterruptedly counsels the boys and girls of new generation to be good citizens and involve themselves in the services of the nation. Shri Sikder is admired as an extraordinary gentleman and social leader at home and abroad.
Again on 5th January 2014 he is elected Member of 10th Parliamentary Election and on 12 January 2014 he is appointed as the State Minister, Ministry of Youth & Sports, People's Republic of Bangladesh.
Under the guidance of State Minister of Youth & Sports Shri Biren Sikder the Ministry of Youth & Sports and Bangladesh Cricket Board jointly organized the ICC World T-20 Bangladesh 2014 successfully. Department of Youth Development has taken a milestone plan to accelerate the youths to skill personnel under his direction in Bangladesh.
Mr. Paudel, born on 1964 in Nijgadh Village Development Committee, Bara District, Nepal. He obtained his Bachelors’ Degree in Political Science from Tribhuwan University Kathmandu Nepal.
He is associated in politics since, 1980. At the time he was the President of Free Student Union :Gauri Shankar Higher Secondary School. Then as Central Member he started his political career from Nepal Communist Party Marxist, Leninist. In 1982 he served in Village Committee as Secretary. Similarly, in 1983 as District Committee Member, in 1992 as District Secretary, in 1995 as Zonal Member, in 2002 as Central Member, in 2008 as Central Political Adviser.Apart from Politics, he is Chair Person of Nepal Sports Federation since 2009.
Referring to his political success he represented as PradhanPancha (President) of Nijgadh Village Development Committee (VDC), Bara district in 1986. Similarly, he was selected as a candidate member of House of Parliament in 1991. He was elected as member of House of Parliament from Bara-3 in 1994. He also contributed as the advisor of former Honorable Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal in 2010.
He was elected in the Constitution Assembly (CA) as CA member in 2013. Till date, talking about his success in 2014 he is appointed as Minister for Youth and Sports, Government of Nepal.
